2016 marked the third annual DanceHackDay, and the first time co-sponsored by CounterPulse SF. Along with long-time collaborators at Raktor, the daylong dance-hackathon workshop combined a traditional hackathon with a dance lab, With teams contributing live from San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, London, and Amsterdam. Workshops were held throughout the day, culminating a 2-hour live performance.
DanceHack 2015
DanceHack Day 2015 was held on November 15th at SafeHouse Arts in San Francisco. Participants from all around the world collaborated on live interactive performance and art.
On November 15, 2015, Kinetech Arts hosted our second annual DanceHackDay, a 12-hour event with nearly 100 dancers, hackers, and performers from around the world filling both floors of SAFEhouse Arts. This is a brief highlight reel from both events.
DANCEHACK 2014
The first DanceHackDay was held on May 31 2014. DanceHackDay 2014 was co-sponsored by Codame and featured a performance by the The New Eccentrics at Tech Playground Space, the eventual site of CounterPulse.
